Our fantastic event was on Saturday, 5th November, 2011. Did you come?
The Fireworks night in West Bergholt organised by Heathlands Primary School is a huge event, attracting a massive crowd from villages far and wide.
The brilliant band Batman’s Cat played and (literally) ROCKED the stage!
The event was organised by Rachel Young and hosted by BBC Essex presenter, Steve Scruton
And what great games were on offer! Hook a duck, splat the rat, darts and many more!
Hook a duck hostess Marika!
Jack was in charge of dispensing the runaway rats down the drain pipe! Who managed to splat one?
The toy stalls were amazing and selling out such was the demand! Items on offer included Light Sabres, flashing bracelets, necklaces (see Mrs Clarke below!) and teeny boppers and of course the vital refreshments!
After all that retail therapy we suddenly got VERY hungry and needed some food, so headed off to the barbecue then the pop corn hut!
The other barbecue stall volunteers – Ailish and Imelda
Now to the very popular Pop Corn hut!
With thanks to our event sponsors, Smooth Tune Limited
Here we have our photo album of the event, enjoy the super hot pics of the raging fire!
