Summer Fayre Prizes 2013

Saturday 16th of June saw one of the amazing  Summer Fayres ever – it was a Heathlands Primary School joint venture with West Bergholt Parish Council and Bluebells to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Lucky sticker for the Scooter Riders!

The venue was Orpen Hall Field and what a sight behold our eyes as the perimeter of the field was bumper to bumper or rather tent peg to tent peg with a huge array of local vendors selling items from hand carved hearts, greetings cards, baby gifts, to a photography studio, vintage tea company, West Bergholt’s new Blue Owl shop selling a selection of gift items, to then all the brilliant stalls run by Heathlands, the Parish Council and Bluebells.

Enjoy the pics below to see how much effort everyone put into this amazing event, a H-U-G-E thank you to everyone involved and who attended! (FYI if you would like to see the pic larger, just click on it)

All the fun of the fayre!

October 26th, 2011 | Posted by Jenna in Summer Fayre - (0 Comments)

Last summer we had an incredibly successful Summer Fayre raising £2375 profit for the PTA.

One of the many jobs was to sell programmes to parents before the event .  We sold lots of programmes on the gate, but by pre-purchasing a programme, there was the chance to win the LUCKY PROGRAMME whose prize was a fabulous luxury hamper!

The Headmaster helps sell the programmes with Blog Editor Amanda Ruiz

You will also see the wheel barrow stuffed full with some fantastic items….all these gardening items are generously donated by parents and staff and this too is a raffle prize, organized by each year by Parent/Teacher, Rachel Hopkins. A week or so before the Summer Fayre, the *empty* wheel barrow is left outside the school entrance and day by day, gardening related items (new or used) are put into the wheel barrow until it groans! This is truly a top prize!

Here we have a pic of two girls about to set off on the very popular donkey rides in Poors Field:

The famous donkey rides were back!
