The verse/greeting must be original  and may be typed or handwritten on A5.

The winners (one from each category) will be chosen after the closing date of Thursday 31st May and will be professionally printed on a card which will be sent to the Queen in June.

All the entries will be displayed, and the winners will be announced at the West Bergholt Diamond Jubilee Fun Day to be held on Saturday 16th June.

Please write your name, address, tel. no. (and date of birth of child)  on the back of your entry.  Only one entry per person.

The  Child’s entry must be entirely her/his own work,  and will be judged on originality and effort.

The Adult entry should reflect the good wishes of the people of West Bergholt on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Heathlands School pupils can hand in their entries in at school, and other entries should reach either 36 Albany Road  or  1 Orpen Close, West Bergholt, by 31st May.

The Runners Up

Here are our fantastic runners up…all the entries below have received 1 House Point, well done!

A very special mention to Molly Spurgeon, 2K for her inspiring picture.  We will be using Molly’s picture on our banner in January 2012 to help promote our good work!

Well Mr Matthews teamed up with  Mrs Sutton (KS1 Arts Leader) to become the Get Creative Judges and sat in an enclosed room for hours, (just like on X Factor, however this room is Mr Matthew’s office!) and they deliberated over the many, many wonderful designs that had been submitted.
